Marketing Manager | Fashion Division | Al Futtaim | Dubai

As Marketing Manager MENA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial marketing plan which relates to the overall brand marketing strategy including offline media, social media, PR, Events activation, promotions and CRM.   You will help to create a brand awareness, recognition with the target audience, and produce a retail calendar of campaigns that are launched to the market to drive footfall and sales.  Your interpersonal skills are imperative, as cross functional discussion and negotiation is necessary between buying, retail operations, brands, and agencies, to ensure you promote the right merchandise with the right message on the right medium, all within a timely manner.

 

Commercial acumen coupled with a creative flair would be ideal. Excellent communicators are desired to address internal and external stakeholders, from presenting ideas to management, to briefing store teams, to discussing an event with a brand, you are representing and marketing the Fashion brands at all times.

 

Other responsibilities include:

Collaboration with the top brand principals

Working closely with creative, media, PR and social agencies alike

Budget planning and management

Analysis of campaign performance, recommendations for improvement

 

About you: 

A degree in marketing, with 3 years+  experience in either strategic marketing, brand development, commercial retail marketing, ideally from a consumer facing retail company

A proven track record in marketing focusing on brand development and campaign planning that drive results

Knowledge of the retail business is preferred

A good grasp of the full marketing mix is important, including online customer engagement, e.g., social

You should have a “lead, not follow” mindset. Be very open to change, both structurally and ways of working

Passionate, energetic and motivated

Organised and analytic in your approach
